Affordable health coverageIndividual coverage is available for as little as $5 per month in some areas and no more than $8 per month nationwide. Today, more than 90 percent of associates have medical coverage—either from Wal-Mart, a spouse, a parent, or a federal or state plan. More than just health care coverageA big part of affordable health care is affordable medicine. We offer over 2,400 generic prescription drugs for $4 to associates who participate in our plans. To help our associates make healthy choices, we provide a variety of health and wellness information at walmartbenefits.com. We have 24-hour hotlines that provide counseling and nutritional information.
